How do I use Outrank Reels?
Log in to Instagram in this browser, open a profile, and click Sort reels. Every profile you scan joins the niche board, which opens from the Outrank Reels icon in your toolbar.
How much should I read?
The default is the latest 300. Choose 100 for a quick look, or 1,000 or Everything for a deeper read. A bigger read makes more requests from your account, so scan in moderation.
I don't see the Outrank Reels bar.
It shows on a profile page when you're logged in to Instagram. Reload the page. If you still don't see it, check chrome://extensions to make sure Outrank Reels is on.
"Couldn't read this profile's reels."
Instagram only lets Outrank Reels repeat a request its own page has already made. Scroll the profile's grid once and try again. A profile with very few posts can show this too. Private accounts can't be read.
"Log in to Instagram in this browser, then try again."
Outrank Reels uses your own Instagram login. It has no account of its own. Log in to Instagram in the same browser and run the scan again.
"Instagram is asking Outrank Reels to slow down."
Outrank Reels paces its requests and stops when Instagram asks it to. Wait a few minutes and try again. Scan in moderation, because a large profile is many requests from your account.
"Instagram changed something on its side."
Instagram changes its site often, and a change can stop Outrank Reels from reading a profile. Updates reach you through the Chrome Web Store, so there's nothing to do except try again after Outrank Reels updates. Profiles you already scanned stay saved. If it keeps happening, use the Support tab on the Outrank Reels page in the Chrome Web Store with the profile and whether you clicked Sort reels or Sort posts.
What does "Stopped early" mean?
You pressed Esc, or Instagram interrupted the scan. Outrank Reels keeps what it read and scores it.
Why does a post show n/a?
A post needs at least 3 neighbors of the same type to get a score.
How do I remove a profile from the board?
Click the × next to its name on the niche board.
Does Outrank Reels work on TikTok?
No. Instagram only.
Can you promise Outrank Reels won't affect my Instagram account?
No tool can. Outrank Reels repeats a request Instagram's own page makes, from your logged-in browser, with a pause of 0.6 to 0.9 seconds between requests. It stops when Instagram asks it to slow down and when you press Esc. Scan in moderation.
